In the year 1985 two young men,
Anil Kumar and
NR Sambashivan, met and started their journey in the tourism industry. Over the years they not only excelled in different roles, but consistently searched new ways of creating and crafting unique travel experiences. In the year 2010 they decided to open a new gateway for the foreign tour operators and travellers and called it "SenKay Group of Tours and Travels".
Since its inception SenKay Group, one of the most preferred South Asian DMCs, is known for its unique way of taking its role beyond the logistics of providing the classical DMC's services of making bookings and reservations because, it believes that the travellers visiting the culturally rich and diverse destinations like India, Nepal, Bhutan and Sri Lanka love to experience the journey with special and greater intensity, which imparts an unforgettable memory in the journey.
After persuing the higher studies, Abhishek developed a deep love of travel and has worked in the travel industry for the past 22 years. More than 12 years have been spent at SenKay Group of Tours & Travels in promoting India and its subcontinents in both the marketing and operation divisons and this journeys seems never ending. Abhishek has travelled extensively to many part of India and its subcontinents like Nepal, Sri Lanka & Bhutan as well as South East Asian countries including Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan & Vietnam.
With a passionate and qualified team well blended with experience and youth, SenKay has evolved its value proposition as a company in moving consistently towards its vision of crafting distinctive itineraries with right places at the right time and in delivering the experience with a difference to stimulate traveller's curiosity to know more and to visit more- a vision that covers three core elements: being closest to our partners/FTOs needs and to best understand their clients' requirements as only by doing so one can innovate and craft experiences of a lifetime.
